This isn’t South Carolina football

Bobby Knight might be interested, but hopefully the feeling isn’t mutual.

Quoteable"Everyone is different, but the smartest decision you can make as a prospect is to stay in state if you are from Georgia. If a guy comes from Parkview, Thomson, or anywhere, the best thing that he can do is to be a Dawg. Everybody will know you, and it is such a big thing to play for the University of Georgia."

Aww come on Groo…you know that would bring some much needed excitement to the program and hopefully equate to him bringing someone with him to take over for the long haul. The idea of taking a chance on another mid major wannabe just doesn’t do anything for me!

My thoughts exactly, Groo. Knight would only be a bandaid on the program, and we need someone who will be in Athens for the long haul.
There’s no guarantee we would want to promote an assistant when he retired (or left like he did at TT), so we’d be right back on square one.
