After several seasons without a single JUCO football signee, Georgia added offensive linemen Vince Vance and Joe Blaes a couple of weeks ago. Four junior college transfers in a single season isn’t a recruiting strategy used by Richt in the past, but the need is definitely there at those positions next year. These four are all able to provide some degree of help right away. Some will even be able to enroll and begin working out with the Dawgs during Chick-fil-A Bowl practices. With two years of eligibility remaining, in most cases, getting them in the program and through a bowl and spring practice is very important to making sure they can contribute out of the gate.
